More Comedy Manga Turned Anime: ‘Baby, Please Kill Me’
Another crazy 4-panel manga is being made into an anime. This one seems pretty interesting though. Kaduho’s “Baby, Please Kill Me” is about a clumsy girl named Yasuna who has to deal with her assassin friend, Sonya, in her life.
Turns out Rie Kugiyima, the Queen of Tsundere, is going to be in this as a new ‘anime-only’ character.
I do it find hilarious that this series seems to revolve around an assassin trying to be a normal and upstanding citizen. You can watch the promo trailer here.
I’ve seen this manga at Kinokuniya and it caught my eye. After reading about the plot, it makes me think about assassins and how they attempt to be normal despite traumatic pasts. I mean, if someone touches them intimately, they could go into counterattack mode.
Anyone interested in watching this series when it comes out? Will it be as wacky as Nichijou?
